Upside Down Kingdom

Upside Down Kingdom is a sermon series from First Methodist Conroe’s Traditional Worship service on the parables of Jesus.

Jesus was the greatest storyteller who ever lived, and His stories were meant to do more than make a point. They were meant to unsettle us, surprise us, and reorient the way we see God, ourselves, and the world around us.

Throughout this series, we are sitting with the parables Jesus told about the Kingdom of Heaven and allowing them to challenge our assumptions about fairness, forgiveness, belonging, value, and what truly matters. In these stories, the smallest seed becomes the greatest tree, the lost are found, the last become first, and grace does not always add up.

The Kingdom does not work the way the world works, and it is nothing like we expected.
